Now I know we haven't had much of a summer here in Now I know we haven't had much of a summer here in the UK, but the past week has felt a little nippy hasnt it?

As autumn 🍂 is around the corner, I thought it would be a great time for me to remind you that we still have time to build our vitamin D naturally through sunlight 
.
Please note that sitting by a window 🪟 will not allow your body to build vitamin D through sunlight as windows have UVB blockers
.
My skin colour usually needs 15-20 minutes max to build Vit D. Please avoid going over the time to prevent sun damage
.
Best time to build vit d in the UK: 10:02am - 4:16pm 
.

Your treatment after care is as important, if not Your treatment after care is as important, if not more important than your actual treatment...here is why!
.
During your osteo treatment, your practitioner may stretch your muscles and work on your spinal alignment to help give you pain relief and better mobility, but if you don't take the advice given after your treatment, it is likely your symptoms may come back
.
Moral of the story: Do your stretches, strengthen your muscles, and work alongside your practitioner. This way, your next session will help progress from where you were to a healthier version of you
.

The city, in general, was pretty refreshing, and the pace was quite relaxed in comparison to London, but I still needed some 'me-time'!
.
Those of you travelling with families, the parks, and walking around the city felt super safe, but if you manage to get a minute to yourself, as I did, I would highly recommend these wellness spots!
.

These movements can work well with the early stages of strengthening your back and maintaining mobility with lower disc pain

As the sunshine UV rays are more powerful during midday, this could be the best time to step out
.
Please remember that Vitamin D can only build when the light touches your skin
.
Rolling up your sleeves can help. I, on the other hand, will be spending most of today indoors, so Vit D supplementation it is!

Here are some tips on clothing for your session to Here are some tips on clothing for your session to be as comfortable as possible 
.
At your first session (your consultation), I try to get a better understanding of how your body moves, I also do a spinal analysis, and for this, a visible spine and body that can move freely is really helpful!
.
◾️Ladies: a fastenable bra with shorts
.
◾️Gentleman: comfy shorts 
.
◾️If you feel anxious to undress, a vest with leggings that can roll up at the bottom for knee and ankle checks are helpful
.
◾️Please avoid sports bras or supportive underwear that may limit movement 
.
It may not be necessary to undress at follow-up sessions. At this time,  clothing that allows your body to relax, such as leggings and tracksuit bottoms, can be helpful
.
⚠️ Whatever you wear, make sure you are comfortable 
.
